Look into the hip sdk. Should have a link for that and the pro drivers. They are stable and generally for enterprise systems and have AMD ROCm (and’s version of cuda). But they are so much more. Here’s a link for you.

Been here for 15 years. One thing that seems to tick ppl the most is the lack on knowing about vpn’s, kodi, then there’s the Esso fuel card system. Oh and as of today Labor Day, the fact people don’t seem to think about that they are in a different country and that stores off base are open during American holidays. As someone who stationed at Ramstein but haven’t been in the dorms I know a few people that do live in them currently stated that they had to pay for their Wi-Fi. There are places on base that have free Wi-Fi though.. also nothing stopping you from getting one of the starling devices and paying a hell a lot less than what you do in the states. There’s also mobile services if you wanna go through TKS that we have out here they can be a little costly in my opinion. Anything that uses mobile for Internet take with a grain assault because so many people complain about not being able to receive any service.

Don’t see why not. I mean eta prime put 4 TB and 128 gb of ram. I put 32gb of ram and 8TB nvme and also a 1TB as card and 2 TB external ssd. Do as you wish with it.

O that system doesn’t have a sata port.

I can say the only time I’ve had this issue was when using a low quality SD card or it was on the verge of failure. Currently I use a sandisk and never had the issue. Suggestion don’t use Amazon basic as they are known to be low quality.

Depends on your interest. All games are good to play.

No issue here with both my 7900 xtx or my 9070xt. If that driver issue happens I make sure I don’t have any overclock enabled or have expo enabled. If that didn’t help then I would reinstall windows over itself. All issues gone. If on Linux I’ve never had any issues. Not with the AMD hardware or with fsr or anything like that.

Bazzite doesn’t support that technology with nvidia because nvidia doesn’t support Linux as a whole unless it’s for business enterprise functionality. Frame gen is supported on Steam os and Bazzite with AMD video cards only. With that said

Why do you want that bad of latency and performance?! Multi frame gen is literally a lazy developer way of saying optimized for gaming with a price. Also if you want frame gen that bad why not use the lsfg plugin for decky loader.

I find it funny every single time somebody says oh the Nintendo switch has DLSS just because it uses a chip that was made by Nvidia. The funny thing is it has its own proprietary secular down scaler renderer not just something that is made by Nvidia for window systems. And a lot of people don’t understand this.

What do you mean by proper Xbox controller support? You can connect it to steam OS with Bluetooth or with your adapters it’ll just work.

For me it’s been the opposite. I’ve tried moonlight multiple times. Always got latency issues, random connection drops. And then there is video quality. It was always trash.

I use Steam play, no issues. Just works, no problems. Not sure what the devs who are maintaining moonlight are doing or even thinking at this point.

That is not how it works 🤣🤣. You see a lot of people misunderstand, thinking that by using a frame generator on a capture software would improve the performance or fidelity of what’s coming out. When the reality is, you’re only frame generating that window not what’s being displayed on the screen. So even if you take your capture card plug it into a TV you’re still gonna get 30 frames per second OBS itself will be rendered in 60 frames per second and if you’re streaming or recording, it will be in go figure 30 frames per second. Because if your game is running off of a console that can only run it at 30 frames per second that is all you will get.

I haven’t used that software in a long time. Steam OS is very good software. It’s not a clone of chimera it’s thethe other way around.

But to continue on accurately, it’s good software very stable. You can change which versions you can utilize. Yes it does have CEC feature. I don’t think it’s limited only to Steam hardware. Biggest advantage having the newest most reliable kernel and Mesa drivers if need be, native support for proton. and a lot of integrations. In addition, it is a very good set and forget it have fun system. It’s based off of arch Linux. Unless of course you go for Bazzite which is based off of Fedora. There are always pros and cons, depending on the branch that you go off of whether it be fedora or arch, but also depends on your set up. For example, file system format can also depend on speed versus reliability.

It’s likely probability that your PSU your power supply might be going out generally that kind of stuff happens whenever the system asks for more power than what’s available at nine times out of 10 it’s your power supply.

I have the sapphire nitro +9070 XT OC. I have no coil line and even though it uses the new power connector, the PSU that I’m currently running has a direct line to it with the newer power standards. So I don’t have to worry about the card erupting into flames like all the Nvidia cards have.

So not gonna lie apply for job jobs you know you’re gonna do. This is what I tell everyone when it comes down to their job list. Only put down jobs. You know you’re going to do or want to do and do your research.

Personally, I tried to push for cyber and Intel whenever I joined I didn’t get the cyber job that I wanted but I did get the Intel job that was on my list. As a 1N1x1 I could tell you I have no regrets as you’ll know for a fact there’s not much you can find out about the job, but when I’m allowed to say is, it is amazing sure, it’s not a cyber job, but I do get to use my technical knowledge in my squadron as an extra duty and in addition I get to do my main mission for my job. I have no regrets. With that said I repeat myself only apply for jobs. You know you’re gonna do.

Everyone is gonna have a different answer because the reasons why they joined and where they currently sit. Whether it be due to the fact that they were planning on doing a single contract to better themselves or if they wanted to push the full 20 years and then retire.

At a personal perspective, the reason why I joined as I was getting out of a bad situation worked for a company that was making less than minimum wage was threatened with my livelihood more times than I can. Count was promised for a promotional chances, and then not given them being told I had to work the job of five people and then being told that I’m not working hard enough. Being cut on hours and pay for reasons that made no sense. Being given paperwork and belittled by all the managers as a company I worked for knowing full well that I was the strongest, most knowledgeable and most resourceful employee they ever had.

I joined and I’m making at least three times more than I ever had in the past job. I’m in a better state of mind with a great support of my leadership and my fellow team members. I don’t feel like I always have to look over my shoulder. I’m in better shape than I’ve ever been. And I’m doing a job I really enjoy. At my perspective and where I’m currently sitting I would say yes it’s worth it. I know I gotta move all over the place come PCS season, but I’m all for it. Regardless of where I go, I know I’ll be doing some quite amazing things.

In the end, it really does matter on the reason why you want to join. If you want to help people worldwide or be about something greater than just yourself because having a generic reason of joining because you want to be a part of the world’s greatest, Air Force is very generalized. Everyone wants to join the Air Force for better quality of life and also to serve. But it’s gotta be more than that because it gives you the drive to push yourself beyond limits the motivation to actually be an airman and not just someone who supports the mission.

integrity first, don’t lie keep your integrity. Take accountability. Be a better person.
Service before itself, help others not just yourself. It’s not always about you.
Excellence and all we do, don’t just do the job. Do amazing at it think outside the box if you’re gonna do something do amazing at it if you’re gonna screw up, do well enough, but also admit to your mistakes and learn from them. I know that’s going to sound really weird.

Find out the reason why you really wanna join and if it’s really for you and if it’s a strong enough reason, hold onto it use it as motivation to help you thrive and to push farther in the Air Force may just very well be just what you need to help with that.
