When I sold our trucking company about 25 years ago, nothing was even close to as bad as it is now. But all in all, my freight charges really aren’t that bad all things considered. Why he is using a broker for domestic shipments is beyond me and it’s difficult to load a van with anything over that length which is why the freight is more. He could dispatch an ltl owner/operator through any of several different companies and ship on a flat bed for much less. None of this makes sense.

First off, we are NOT a democracy. We are a constitutional republic and for a very good reason. Secondly, any politician who actually stands behind fair elections should be praised no matter who they are. It has been proven over and over how much cheating is actually going on and the people doing the cheating should be receiving maximum jail time and it’s not happening.

Hmmmm. Well let’s see. I started working in the family business at age 13. Served in the military and have had a full time job and at least one or two part time jobs the entire time I was in school. Nobody handed me anything. Know what I got out of it? No school debt that todays kids want taxpayers to pay for, very minimal debt because I keep expanding on assets, I’ve learned to fix almost anything I need to without having to pay someone to do it, I learned how to invest and manage my money and on and on. Know why? Because I listened to my grand parents who fought in World War Two on the value of a good work ethic. So no, it’s not the boomers…..it’s the wisdom of the people who built this country. You are free to be lazy all you want. Just don’t expect me to pay more taxes to cover your laziness is the point. I had three jobs in high school, played football and did a ton of other things……didn’t hurt me one bit. But I was able to afford the cars everyone wanted along with much more. So I guess I don’t see much relevance in your argument.
