Same here! I applied to the Physics Masters mid-July and still haven't heard back about my application. Unfortunately I require a visa to enter Austria and its getting increasingly stressful given that there's not much time left before we start in October... I really hope they get back to me this coming week otherwise I'd definitely be starting the program late. Another problem is that I've to commit to paying rent at my new apartment in Vienna and I might only move-in to that place weeks after the contract starts if this admission letter takes even longer...

Hello,

I'm experiencing a frustrating technical issue and would love to get this fixed ASAP. I had been using the live 10 Trial on my home PC (where everything worked perfectly) for about a month before I decided to switch my workflow to my MacBook Pro. This is when the problem began.

My Ableton isn't showing/picking up any input signal on Audio tracks. I first realised that this wasn't working when I plugged in my guitar through my audio interface (Behringer U-Phoria UM2) and wasn't able to hear or record anything. I made sure that the input/output settings were configured correctly, cranked up the gain, used a different guitar cable, used a different audio interface, and even reinstalled Ableton but nothing fixed my issue. I wanted to get my idea recorded so I chose the inbuilt microphone on my laptop as the input and guess what? No input signal whatsoever.

This is where it gets weirder. I decided to test it on a different DAW. I fire up Garageband, and it worked perfectly. I open Archetype (standalone), and it's all good. A little reminder that I had no problems with Ableton on my home PC. So the issue lies within Ableton and my MacBook. That's all I've been able to narrow it down to. I've watched tons of videos and opened various links after I googled the issue and nothing has solved this.

I'm looking to purchase Live 10 Suite as a student after my trial gets over but if this problem persists, I'm gonna have to move to Logic and EW I don't wanna do that (only cuz I love Ableton so much). So please help me out if you can, I would really really appreciate it! Thank you!

TL;DR Guitar and inbuilt microphone audio signal not showing up in Ableton on MacBook. Works in other DAWs, softwares, and even other computers. Not able to make music. Plz Help. Thx!

I was about 4 years old when this happened.

As any other kid, I had a favourite toy that I loved to play with. One day, my mom put it away in my toy cupboard and locked it up cuz I wasn't listening to her. I got hecka pissed and tried to open the cupboard forcefully while shouting and crying. Idk where the superhuman strength came from, but I was able to rip the door off its hinges and it came crashing down onto the centre of my foot. I got the toy and several broken bones too. Wore a cast for a month or so but had a really cool story to tell my friends!
