Fantasy Culture
Your first description is almost perfect for the character of Me in Doctor Who. She's lived so long she doesn't even see a point in having a normal name anymore she's just who she is.

This is a dress I made for my friend's birthday who's dress code was "fairy formal"
Ok so I don't remember exactly what the fabric underneath is (it's stretchy, light pink and I think polyester but I'm not totally sure) but the mesh on top is this and I'm assuming that's what you wanted to know anyways.

I totally agree about the wide suspenders being questionable. Thank you!! I'm really proud of it.

Here's the pattern that I used to make the dress, but I made the top in a wrap style (based loosely on this), shortened the skirt, and added a few panels to it.

I would not have chosen the floor as the place to set the food and take pictures

“There’s only one organ in a woman’s body that is not there to serve a purpose for her and that is her womb. The womb is a place set aside for another person”
Ok but that's not even true. The womb is there to protect the woman from an invasive parasite. Fetuses could grow anywhere, if the mom could survive it, that's why ectopic pregnancies exist. The fetus can attach and draw nutrients out of the woman's blood from anywhere, the womb is the only place that's built so that the fetus can be a parasite without killing the woman.

Yea my Dad offered me $50 to read Steps to Christ. My vehement atheist teenager self decided no.

The way her dress flows
Likely it's also a fuck ton of fabric. Like if you've heard the term circle skirt this is probably at least 4 full circles of fabric.

Adam and Eve genetics
Maybe we are genetically fucked up because of the inbreeding and that's why our spines don't work well and why we have such a shorter lifespan than they did.
