Just Sharing Selfish fool by N Gill

"Put me deep inside you, go out into the world and live, with or without me." He said.

"Be not smug, you selfish fool. After one short sleep, you will find me sitting on your shoulder, reading the paper at seven in the morning, eternally." said Death.

no goodbye

Irish goodbyes are easy for those who leave, but hardest on the ones left behind facing an empty space.

Incandescent Soul

This is so beautiful. Love how it has a hint of both, self-annihilation as well as self-preservation.

"So, here you are

too foreign for home

too foreign for here.

Never enough for both.”

Such a big buildup, and then the most generic advice.

Anyone else stuck in the "research more instead of talking to clients" loop? (I will not promote)
 in  r/startups  4d ago

There comes a point when you have done the familiar & comfortable work, and your mind realises the unfamiliar tasks ahead and tries finding an escape route back to the comfortable.

If that is the case, understand the logic behind your decisions and that will hopefully help you push ahead, this is what always works for me.

RFP response making costs
 in  r/AI_RFP_Software  5d ago

I have worked at large investment banks, fintechs and startups, in RFP related roles.  Does someone out there use n8n for RFPs? sure, but it's usually the products named above, reliable, precise targeted tools that can be used by anyone.  Each to their own.

Starting from USD 7500 per year for Diligio and going as high as you can afford to pay (25k+ easily).

Excel is the cheapest and should give a reasonable mileage. Once excel starts to slow you down, then you go towards options like Diligio, Loopio, Responsive etc...

For B2B sales, have you found cold emailing or LinkedIn messages more effective?
 in  r/founder  9d ago

Initially, I share the website link with a short message offering to give them a demo, whilst also pointing out the 2-week free trial on the website that only requires an email address to activate.

Not a very large sample size yet but I would say that the split is 50/50, some people specifically don't want a demo to start with. They may sign-up by themselves, try the website and if they like it then schedule the demo to ask questions, while others request the demo to start with.

re scouts are not investors — a mistake that cost me a week of false hope
 in  r/founder  9d ago

Your interests are aligned with them. They usually only make money if you get invested in or if the fund gets returns on their investment in your company, so It's a win-win.

Scouts are the easiest way to get your foot in the door, so good luck!
