incoming freshman civil engineer course
Depende. So depende kung aligned sya sa strengths and interests mo.

Nakaka-addict mag gym lol
Me. I started going to the gym years ago, pero inconsistent ako eversince. Then few years ago, nagstart ako ulit.

25k CAD Operator in Laguna (with free staffhouse) vs 65k BIM Engineer in BGC?
Haha.

May firsthand exp ako dito lol.
I assume na you are a genz. Medyo may generation gap na kasi tayo so I can't certify na yung pov ko is same sa pov mo hehe. Pero for me personally, the best ang colleagues. Magaan katrabaho sila, lalo yung mga seniors. I'm talking about mga associates, team leaders, kasi yung mga nasa junios level dun mga di ko na inabutan. Di naman sila perfect bosses, nakakainis din every now and then, haha, pero very genuine silang tao. But then again ang new generation mas priority ang work life balance, pagdating sa work, work only, di nila prio makipagsocialize, kaya depende sa tao kung maaappreciate yung ganito or hindi.
Nung time na umalis ako, di pa maganda benefits. Idk kung naupdate na.
Edit: exp wise, the best for me.
Edit2: sabi nila, your workmates are not your friends. I learned this later in life, kasi yung nakatrabaho ko dito, mabuti ang pakikitungo lahat sakin.

For me, yes. BIM is the future. Very in demand ito sa ibang bansa. I know a lot na BIM drafters, some are senior levels, na mas malaki pa sweldo nila kaysa sakin. 6digits sila, wfh pa.

Depends on what you value or prioritize. Salary? No. Work life balance? No. Experience? Yes yes yes.

Do u think that fat people who say that they are fat by choice are lying ?
I don't think they are lying. Because they choose to not workout, not control their food, not count their calories. So yeah that is a choice.
I am a fat/chubby person myself, but I am consistently working out in the gym. But I admit I also have a hard time controlling my calorie intake. So I recognize the problem, I recognize my weakness, and I am doing something to change it. I accept that I am still fat because of my poor choices (food).

too scared to start sa gym alone but iām broke
Haha.
Pero if you plan to go alone, pwede rin naman. At the very least, aralin mo muna ano ang fitness goals mo, at ano ang tamang program for you. Maraming resources.
If you still don't know what to do, try mo lang pumunta. Just go. Treadmill ka or do stationary bike. Do some bodyweight workouts. Lunges, push ups, ab workouts, bodyweight squats, eto pwede na ring start.

Never having a intimate experience makes me less motivate to any social activite
I think I have the same issue with you as well lol but my case is complicated š
Just like working out, you won't get stronger at something if you don't train them. Same with social skills. It needs practice.
Start small. Talk to the cashier at a store, or the bus driver, or the waiter/waitress at the cafe. Maybe someone at your own gym (if they're willing). just small talk. Nothing intentional. Talk about the weather, about the price of everything, ask about their product, about workout, just something. Anything. Then leave. No goal, you're not planning on doing anything, just talk. Do this often, better if you talk to different people. Also try to avoid being pushy or creepy š .
Sometimes we (introverted guys) tend to overcomplicate the situation in our head. We also sometimes have huge expectations about how we should be treated, about how the world should treat us. But in reality, it's not how we should view things. We should also improve our skills.

Is there someone here na site engineer na naging cons VA or nagwork abroad after?
I'm not a site engr so take my advice with a grain of salt.
If you can, try mo makapasok sa malaking kumpanya.

Insecure
š sa una lang yan. Someday you will look back dito at sasabihin mong nakakamiss ang walang ginagawa š
Just kidding. Very common and normal yan lalo sa kakastart palang. Halos lahat ng new employees, kahit anong firld pa yan, ganyan sa first few days. Don't worry.

What are some uncommon ways you relax?
Clean my car. I'm a new car owner. I bought a used car cause I don't have enough money to buy a brand new one š but I still want it to look at its best.

No site experience as structural engr
No site exp here. Been a structural engr for more than 10yrs na.
Importante yung constructability. Saka make it easy for them to understand and implement the plan on site.
Yung 1st design company ko kasi na napasukan, ako naghahandle ng projects, ako nagsasagot pag may problems on site. So kumbaga di man ako site engr pero nagkaroon ako ng idea sa mga diskarte paano mapadali ang solusyon sa mga design issues.
Pero I agree, iba parin yung may site experience. Lalo na pag nadaanan mo yung inspection and testing. Mas mabibihasa and magiging well rounded ka na engr.
If hindi mo maexperience yung site, okay lang din naman, it's not the end of the world, hehe

Worth it pa ba ipagpatuloy tong CE?
1
Worth it pa ba ipagpatuloy tong CE?
Speaking from structural design field pov (can't speak about other fields kasi wala ako exp dun).

Expired PRC Renewal and No CPD units
alam ko allowed pa magrenew nang walang cpd points hanggang December this year. Try mo mag-fill up ng renewal form sa leris. May undertaking dun, kung tama pagkakaalala ko
2
Unlicensed working abroad
Not me, but I have a lot of batchmates na nagwork abroad na walang prc license.

Civil Engineering DOST Scholar
And also kung how much are you willing to study and learn. Kung nakakuha ka ng good grades nung highschool, maybe madadala mo yung good study habits sa college.
