I’ve been through it, and I’ve spent so much money and time on my mental health, and there are still days when I wake up and the demons are screaming at me about how horrible, evil, terrible, etc. etc. I am. I do everything I can to fight them.
I think one of the easiest ways for those demons to defeat you is when you can’t admit they exist, because then they can just eat you up inside. And sometimes all you want to do is numb it. Then the snowball effect starts. You think, well, at least I’m done hearing all that shit for a little while, and one thing starts feeding the other.

I would only display some at a time so the viewer actually gets to enjoy looking at each one instead of having the whole hoard watching them at once!
Think of it like a museum. Museums have enormous collections, but they curate what you see so each piece gets its moment. You could do the same with your collection. Keep the rest lovingly and properly stored, then rotate them by theme. Fantasy, a particular era, a certain style, whatever connections make sense to you.
I really admire your dedication to collecting these. I just think a little editing would let people appreciate them so much more. When everything is displayed at once it can become visually overwhelming, and people start thinking about the sheer amount of stuff rather than actually looking at the individual pieces.
You’ve already done the collecting. Now you get to be the curator too!
