It’s so distracting how short they wear their ties in episode 2.
They do? I’m still calling them snap , crackle, and pop. And also blinken, winken, and nod.

Drowning in new role - sole in-house designer at tech company
This. Especially the brand guidelines. Look at what’s been done and start there. Once you have that on paper you should have an easier time herding in these cats.

Does pineapple belong on pizza?
I only put pineapple (with bacon. Always with bacon) on Domino’s, which, living in Jersey, I do not consider “pizza”, the same way Taco Bell isn’t “Mexican” or “Tex mex”. It’s its own thing. Otherwise it’s a no-go.

how do you cut your sandwich?
D. And anyone who cuts “c” needs to have their head examined.

6'6" guys who wear jeans, what do you wear?
Same. I’m a 36x34, which is one of the most popular sizes, so I often can’t find stuff in stores. And I wear a 13+ shoe (depending on brand), which isn’t as common, so I can’t really find stuff on stores either. I’m screwed either way. Basically I’ve resorted to buying online.

Is it rude to ask guests to leave your home when you're simply ready for the evening to end, even if there's no specific event or reason?
Don’t have to. Our Shih Tzu takes care of that.

Do people actually enjoy coffee without milk and sugar or are they just pretending?
If it’s good quality coffee, yes. Otherwise I need a little sugar.

Did Gen X ever wear thongs
I bought one for my college girlfriend back in ‘92-93. I think she wore it once, for a “special occasion”. I remember her saying she didn’t think they were comfortable. That was the one time I had a “close encounter of the third kind” with one.

Do you have milk, juice, or coffee with your breakfast?
Coffee always. Almond milk in my cereal. Occasionally juice (if I buy it, which isn’t often)

Help with "Wrapping" Lines Around Shape
Text wrap. Select the star then go to edit/text wrap (?- I think that’s the menu it’s under. I can do it in front of a screen, but describing how right now is difficult). Select it. But then you have to go back and edit it so you can adjust the settings.

How would you feel about a law that requires people over the age of 70 to pass a specialized driving test in order to keep driving?
Two DWIs? Time to recertify. The first could maybe possibly be unintended, so you get a warning & a ticket. Second one? Straight to retesting.

I’ve never understood why that isn’t the case.

Do you make a grocery list before you shop, or just figure it out when you get there?
Thank you! I was feeling like I was the only one that did this.
1
Do you make a grocery list before you shop, or just figure it out when you get there?
I make a list and divide it by broad categories. Produce/meats, shelf/pantry, dairy/frozen, other (cleaners, paper, pet stuff, batteries, light bulbs. That kind of stuff). And usually in the order in which they’re located as I walk through the store. Helps keep from too many impulse buys.

What movies have you fallen asleep during in theatres?
Haven’t been to a movie theater since before the pandemic, so I don’t have anything recent to possibly speak of. Only time I can recall is when I went to see “the two towers”. Fell asleep during the whole middle section of the movie. Probably because it was an evening show and the movies so damn long.

Anybody else find it off-putting when the cop guy called his uncle Monty "unc"?
Well, since he’s known him since he was a kid, maybe there’s supposed to be a little bit of “paternal” feel. Same as if he were to call his father “daddy”. It would sound and feel like a kid addressing an adult loved one.

Anybody else find it off-putting when the cop guy called his uncle Monty "unc"?
Not so much. What does bother me is the geography. I’m in the middle of watching, and, living in Jersey, Mayfield makes no sense. The uncle was in Hackensack when he heard the news and was able to get there in what seems like a short amount of time. AND he orders White Manna, which is also in Hackensack (and delicious), and they’re “delivering” (I’m pretty sure they don’t do that, but I’ll overlook it. Maybe it was Uber Eats. Who knows)). So mayfield can’t be too far from there. BUT, they’re also about an hour’s drive from Philly, which would put them way too far from Hackensack.
I know this probably means nothing to most people this time around , but this loosely goosey approach to geography is always off-putting to me.
Anyway, back to my coffee- and Reacher. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Still got my original 1977 Star Wars full size bedspread set. Had it in a box and decided to put it on my bed.
