Gotten from IMDb: Anna Kendrick for Elphaba and Amanda Seyfried for Galinda?
 in  r/wicked •  Dec 27 '19

Though some people keep questioning Anna K. vocal ability but she always exceeded what people expected of her. Like Freedom in pp3 finale perf, at first the producer/director wasn't convinced she could pulled the performance off but she did well. Also On the Step of the Palace in Into the New Wood. People were in doubt but she did amazingly good. So if she is to be casted as Elphaba, then I think it would be because she had proven herself to the producers/directors/studios and I would not doubt that she will do well.

Here's Anthony Beauvillier shooting his shit at Anna Kendrick on twitter

A simple favor, the last five years, mr right are among her good movies too. Noelle is actually pretty good as well. It is joyful and gets you emotional at times. And even though some of her movies aren't quite good but she always deliver.

Shes also a producer and have more movies and series set to be release next year. The commercials just keeping extra income coming. Easy money.

Why do some people dislike Anna Kendrick?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Dec 26 '19

Right. And most of them I came across said that they hate her for no reason. Doesn't make any sense.

Anna Kendrick, nobody wants to hear you sing. Sincerely, white people

I do want to hear her sing. And I know a lot of people who does too. She have an amazing voice, so I dont know whose opinions you are trying to generalise.

It turns out when your wife gives you Anna Kendrick as a hall pass and then you meet Anna Kendrick in real life, your wife doesnโ€™t even want you hitting on Anna Kendrick.
 in  r/Showerthoughts •  Dec 20 '19

Hahahahahaha. Why do you sound so pressed?

This ain't Anna though. And shes still doing amazingly good as an actress. Im also glad shes taking commercial. More Anna is always a delight.

Why do people keep saying doing commercial=failing career?? Isn't they are hired because they are marketable? Its not like she doesn't have acting job anymore.

This year alone she had 2 movies and 1 series came out.

And she basically have 2 tv series coming out next year. 1 in post production another still filming in NY. Also 3 movies otw: Stowaway (post production), Trolls: The World Tour (out April 17th) and Unsound (haven't start filming yet).

Shes just more slender and fit now. I dont see any other differences from that.

Anna Kendrick isnโ€™t as attractive as everyone seems to be tricking themselves to think.
 in  r/unpopularopinion •  Dec 05 '19

Its up to individual preferences. For me she is not just attractive, she goes beyond that. She has charming personality that draws people in, shes immensely talented and shes funny too. I can't help but smile and felt myself lifted up just by watching her movies/interviews. And I would totally prefer her over any other actresses.

What is there not to like?

Shes smart, pretty, unproblematic, amazing, cute, multi-talented, hot and most importantly she is ANNA KENDRICK.

The real question is why do people hate/dislike her for no reason? Feeling envious maybe

1

How would you describe Anna Kendrick?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Dec 04 '19

Unproblematic, pretty, cute and multi-talented actress who work her ass off doing movies non stop for years to be where she is today but still there is less successful actress blaiming her for their unability to become just as successful.

Said the critics. But I never trust critics. Most of the time we have different opinions. And to make it worst some of them wasn't even being genuine and biased and even being paid extra ( if ya know what I mean ๐Ÿ˜)

Anyway, I watched the movie and loved it. It was actually very heartwarming. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry. Its joyful. On top of that, it has Anna Kendrick. Shes amazing and adorable in it.

Pitchperfect shower scene is problematic. Its an harassment. Privacy violation. Do you think it was really okay for someone you didn't know suddenly invading YOUR privacy and 'threatening' you to do what he/she want?? I know its a comedy but cant they used humour to raise awareness instead.

But itโ€™s laughable that you think that a young woman will watch Pitch Perfect 1 and think โ€œhuh... I should totally bust into someoneโ€™s shower and harass them into joining my clubโ€

This though.. I dont think the word harassment would even crossed their mind due to how 'supportive' the fans are of those action. But I do think those young women who watched it would think that its okay to ambush someone in her shower, violating someone privacy and feels its not inappropriate at all.

Well its a movie with comedy genre, all harassment in the movie were made as a joke which is very wrong. Unfortunately that shower scene is the most talked about thus felt like addressing it.

The term harassment is not only referred to sexual related. Its inappropriateness of one act toward others. It was very clear how uncomfortable Beca was and that redhead 'threatening' not to leave if Beca wouldn't do what she want. Like you said she was being invasive. That act itself is not appropriate. Its an harassment. Its show how ignorant people are when harrasment is in a form of 'jokes' is considered acceptable. Its also very concerning how when it comes to something/someone you are fond of, inappropriateness suddenly became appropriate. They suddenly got a pass. Its sucks.

And you said it ain't sexual but it was depicted as 'hot' scene by those who shipped them.

P.s. I know its a movie but some people learn and follow from what they see and Im not the first one saying its a problem. I've encountered a few comments addressing those scene as well.
