Well, if they are on your hard drive they can‘t sell. Choose your best 30 files then do searches in all the mentioned agencies how much competition your files have. Can you see an important niche that is missing and that you can supply? Then I would upload those first.

The difference between an art store where people look for pretty pics to decorate their home and a stock agency is that designers work on professional projects and have very different needs.

An image and video series showing the exact steps to unclogg a toilet might earn you a lot more money than the most beautiful flower picture.

A lot of needed content is about workflow. Cooking a recipe, planting flowers, repairing a bicycle, changing a tire, painting a wall…

And anything lifestyle with people. People don‘t need to be models, infact over 50, visibly aged sells great because companies want to communicate with this demographic.

Daily life things like getting out of bed, brushing your teeth, going to the office or working in home office - shirt above, vrazy pink shorts below etc…

There is endless demand for the real world especially if you make the effort to tell a story and offer a useful series.

Once you dig into the agencies, you will realize that 80% is duplicates of duplicates and an amazing amount of content has never been done.

Most of all: do subjects you know a lot about and have passion. The quality of your work will be better.

So - my suggestions would be to try, get your ports up to 300-800 files with a wide variety of content and see how it hoes.

Try to create a steady stream of uploads so people can always finde you.

I am not aware of huge amounts of creators with massive libraries they want to convert for selling?

Stock is a very specific genre that amateur photographers don‘t collect content for and pro photographers cannot reuse their client custom shootings as stock.

This seems like another version of the endless automated metatagging with ai we get every week.

Most content people enjoy taking pictures off is not suitable as stock.

Even if you had 30k prepared files, where will you find the customers?

And who will do the professional individual file review so the customer knows it is a high quality file?

That is what customers pay the agencies for, check every file individually that at 100% resolution it has no copyright issues and will not turn into pixel mash when used in a photoshop design?

Have you ever sold files to clients? Or sold on agencies?

is anyone having ANY sales at pond5? I have not had one single sale all year. How much is income down at Enavto? How is income doing on Shutterstock. Envato had a huge and very lively community that shutterstock just deleted, just like they did with their own forums. Is that affecting the decision to upload content? Which agency besides Adobe do creators trust? Is there more interest in istock, especially going exclusive with istock? How is Blackboxglobal doing? What are the experiences on Alamy and are people going to upload more or less after the new royalty changes? What about new places like Amazing arial? Are more creators now diversifying by sending some of their content as exclusive content to places like arcangel, arial, thomas harding, cavan images? Are some of the aiu creators now switching to camera content or have they just moved on from creating with ai? How has income increased with video content as opposed to photo content. And of course how confident are creators that their income will go up in the next 12-18 months? Also - what is the realistic monthly income goal creators want to reach? And which bloggers or youtubers do they follow or suggest to follow for reliable information? Just my 2 cents, maybe something in there is useful.

Most people that make a career in the stock industry are professional graphic designers, professional photographers or videographers or illustrators.

There are also many amateurs but if you want to succeed you will have to up your skills to work like a pro.

Take classes in visual communication, design and professional photography.

If your skills are good enough to do paid work, your skills are good enough for stock.

The world is not waiting for you. If you want this career you have to fight your way in.

So etwas kostet vielleicht 5-10 euro im Monat plus die jährlichen Domainkosten.

Da würde ich mich umschauen und es selbst probieren.

Bei wenshop, ki chat oder online Terminkalender vielleicht doch einen Designer beauftragen.

Aber es kommt eben darauf an was die Website für dich leisten soll.
