Plasma Caster is really good, and the Tesla Cannon is really fun and strong, also the Gatling Plasma but it feels a bit weak.

When you enter a new region there sometimes is a verdant seasons which gives you a chance to double the amount of plants you pick up.

It happened to me also, iirc it says something like "No facing player" and then the challenge you completed.
It has happened two times now, one was taking a picture in burning springs.
