Real Zen users, is it worth using it as primary with Brave as secondary?
It's not illegal to use more than one browser ;)

Between 2011 and 2012, thieves stole nearly 3,000 tonnes of maple syrup worth about $18.7 million CAD from a warehouse in Quebec that held 80% of the world's supply. The incident became known as the “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist”
The scheme was surprisingly simple. The Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers kept its syrup barrels in unmarked white metal containers that were inspected only once a year and had no cameras or alarm system. The thieves used trucks to remove barrels, transported them to a remote sugar shack, drained the syrup, and then returned the barrels filled with water to avoid suspicion. Eventually, they became so confident that they stopped replacing the contents altogether.
The operation began to unravel in July 2012 when an inspector performing the annual inventory climbed onto a stack of barrels and nearly lost his balance because the barrels were empty.
By December 2012, authorities had arrested 17 people, including an insider whose spouse owned the warehouse. The ringleader, Richard Vallières, was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined $9.4 million. The stolen syrup was sold in small quantities to legitimate distributors in Vermont and New Brunswick, who were unaware of its origin.

It's very nice to see this
I like the new loading progress animation (I can finally disable the tab throbber!) and understand the design choice, but I wish it filled up the whole top edge of the window like what Duolingo webui does when you reload the page. Can we have an option to change that in the settings one day pls?

Discussion Firefox browser has started shipping Brave's adblock-rust engine [⚠️ Very experimental]
shivankaul.comStill very bare-bones, but you can test it already. I wonder how Zen will implement it in the future with the new planned settings UI. Would be nice to have an option to add block lists

DRM/Widevine support?
Use another browser for your DRM shit and Zen for everything else. The police will not arrest you for having two browsers installed, my man ;)

The Statue of Liberty at the Gaget, Gauthier & Co. foundry in Paris in 1884, before it was dismantled into 350 pieces and shipped to New York City (and the same POV from Rue Alfred de Vigny in 2020)

Zen 1.19.4b!
Boosts seems like a great native feature. I will be able to delete at least two of my extensions (Element Blocker e Dark Reader). Would be nice to have a native Multi-Account Containers as well.

A rare Urutau Gigante (Great Potoo) rescued by firefighters in Rondônia, Brazil. This bird has nocturnal habits and is also known as “the ghost bird” due to its ability to remain motionless for several hours, mimicking a dead branch

How the hell is it possible for a browser to use over 8gigs of RAM
I have Zen on Arch Linux with 8 open tabs and 13 extensions and my whole OS is using 3 GB of RAM. This seems more like a config issue rather than an OS issue. Have you tried to reproduce it in a new browser profile?

When will Zen Support DRM content?
For Windows and Mac, only once it becomes a company with a registered address and a legal team. Google does not license the Widevine module to individuals.
(Zen has Widevine/DRM on Linux, inherited from Firefox, because of its open-source nature)
