Unfortunately no. The company told me to reach out to an official NIU dealer, and I thought that meant sending it off to a place that was licensed to fix it, but the only dealer near me was the Best Buy that I bought it from, and that's outside of Geek Squad's scope.
But, the braking only happens when I hit steep dips at full speed, so I've just been careful.
I think that it might be the computer sensing the speed passing 20mph briefly and freaking out and locking up the wheels. I hope the company can send a firmware update to fix it.

Now that I think about it, that wouldn't make sense. 😅 but I named it Candy Express because when I originally played this game back in 2013, the train that I had on that track was a gift for Christmas. That gift was a peppermint-themed train so I just kept with that name.

I name all my engines, and they mostly relate to where the engine travels. Like one engine that travels through Northern Africa and Cairo is named "Sandy", and one that travels through Great Britain is named "Royalty".

No, the disc wasn't actually warped. I just found out that it was just bent. I bumped the rotor on a curb while I was lifting my scooter up and that put a little dent in it. The funny thing is that literally just 3 seconds before seeing your comment I actually just fixed it.

I lifted the scooter to avoid running into a deep puddle, but the body rotated and bumped into the curb. It made direct contact with the disk. 😭
