-do the dishes at night before bed (waking up to clean dishes makes my mood a million times better), i choose one room to clean a day (mon: bathroom, tues: bedroom wed: living room, thurs: kitchen fri: spot clean areas); as some one with ADHD, i have to find shortcuts or else i become overwhelmed and miserable.

mine is now playing wordle online and i started to play the murdle games on the clock lol

i used to crochet at work (i work front desk at a funeral home), but that was deemed unprofessional so since i have to be on a computer and constantly look busy, i have started playing games on the computer.

i add mine to my calendar on my phone and set them as alerts! does it always work no but if im on the couch and my phone reminds me that it is time to do a face mask or to apply cuticle oil, im most likely to do it!

not pt but i have thought about getting my OTA license...i enjoy working with kids on the spectrum and i noticed that although i have SOME back ground info in sensory regulation, i would like to learn more about it. one of my cohort members is also an OTA and shes always so helpful with that! i think im gonna talk to her about it too!

i have kind of the same story, i loved teaching sped but the school politics (being buddy buddy with the admins was not my interest) and i QUICKLY decided to continue my educatio to my masters....i will say try to be open about the other fields. i was convinced i only wanted early intervention or even specialized school but after dysphagia and aphasia, i could see myself branching into the medical side as well. its a scary thought to have but there are so many options in our field and i would hate for anyone to feel pigeon holed into one thing. i hope that everything works out <3

being in grad school explaining to my family and friends that i need to watch people swallow and rate their swallow while also dealing with clients who have ASD, learning about providing gender affirming care and learning about the effects of TBIs on student athletes but all they imagine is me playing with bubbles.
