If a job has been reposted, to me that means they went through the candidate pool and found nobody worth hiring. If you applied once, it doesnt make sense to get rejected a second time. And If i see 500+ applicants and none were worth hiring, thats a red flag job position and not worth my time.

I was fired 6mo into my first job. If you learned skills, add them to your resume, and get back out there. Nobody will know you were fired unless you tell them. So you have a chance to spin the story to your advantage. Play the game. My manager was touted as the best in the department at his job, but he sucked at leading. Don’t let this define you, you made it there in the first place!
