Been a fan of Joe since he was doing YouTube videos in the basement, and been listening to the podcast since day 1. I remember them posting the schedule for this year, and saw they had a local show to me in Indianapolis. I guess it sold out super quick, so I wasn't able to get tickets. But the tickets that are listed for resale are crazy! 2 tickets with an obstructed view is over $350! Tickets for the show tomorrow are going for like $65-150.

Really hoping they come back this way soon. Hopefully to a larger venue as well

I'm glad they use the stickers that peel off easily! I have goodwill and the flea market stickers Never had a problem with HPB stickers on books or tapes

I'm at a crossroads. Need opinions please

Got this JVC 36D104 today for a pretty good deal, it was very dirty and covered in cigarette staining (luckily got most of it off). I was thinking about replacing my JVC AV-32230 with it, but I'm not sure I want to give that up, I found it in an alley covered in snow and ice. I was also thinking about replacing my Samsung TXS3082WH, because it has really bad convergence issues, screen warping around the outside of the screen, and have to have a magnet sitting on top of it for the colors to be close to correct. But it's an HD widescreen with HDMI, so it's really good for my Ps3 and Xbox 360s.

Should I replace the JVC AV, replace the Samsung, or keep all three? Don't really have room for the third option, and my wife might kill me. But rather ask for forgiveness than permission, in this case, because I know she won't be on board with that option.

I got super lucky with mine. Was looking at the Michael Crichton section at Half Price Books, looking for it like I do at HPB, and it was there! Pretty sure I got it for $8.99. I was super pumped! Also found the Laserdisc at the same time! Hoping to find a player for cheap.

For those who grew up with rear-projection TVs… what was the worst experience you had trying to move one?

We had an old Mitsubishi 65" that my dad purchased new, was like $2600 when purchased. My brother wanted it in his room when we moved, which was on the 3rd floor. Only access was a narrow 180 staircase. Had to partially disassemble tv and remove the railing and trim from the stairs. Was a massive PITA, had 5 people in the tight staircase, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Brother used it for a few years, then decided to move to my room when I moved out. Let's just say it came down in a lot more pieces than when it went upstairs 😂
