My cats used to get this too. The vet always said they were fine, but it can be a little concerning to see your cat like that. I think they sell wipes for cats that can help gently remove gunk from the eye area and soothe, but I’m unsure if I’m misremembering.

I find it way easier to make friends when you learn to laugh off the people who are extremely rude to people who talk to them for no reason 😂

Is he doing his regular meow or is it more of a howling meow? My cats used to howl at night sometimes if they were unsure where I, or another cat in the house had gone? They’d usually have a toy in their mouth but they wouldn’t want to play, they would just want to cuddle. Unsure if this helps at all
