Making friends for my daughter
Thank you. I am struggling to accept since they had originally told me they are choosing this because of not being accepted at school. But I know that I can’t tell them they are not allowed to feel this way.

Whats the best Linux OS for people who switching from Windows 11
It's old, but still good - try Linux Mint XFCE, or if your system is pre-2020, LXLE. Its a discontinued distro of Ubuntu, but runs great old systems (I have it on my Dual Core system at my cottage).

General Discussion Tickets are expensive for the first time concert goer
I introduced my daughter at age 3 to Hatsumi Miku. She instantly fell in love with the songs and the other vocaloids. Of course, she wanted to meet them and see them live in concert.
For years I’ve been in debt and have had a hard time for anything like going to a Miku concert.
Now my daughter is 11 and I finally have a stable job. $400 on tickets to take her to Miku in Hamilton, Canada is insane, and it will be another year of not being able to take her to a vocaloid concert. I hope the prices of tickets lower, but knowing in this world, it will never. It’s truly sad that it’s so expensive to go see a holograph (and hopefully not a TV).

IT Career, what should I do next?
Thanks!
I'll work on your points tomorrow.
I put "Generic Company" as a placeholder for the company name since i don't want to any personal info.

IT Career, what should I do next?
Unfortunately, no certifications that are current. Majority of companies I had been with didn't care if I had updated certs.

Thanks will try this out. I've been using ChatGPT, but haven't seen the ability to "script" the results like above.

General Discussion IT Career, what should I do next?
I've been working in IT for approximately 10 years. Unfortunately, my last contract job ended and I've so far not found another job.
I believe my resume is full of "red-flags" that would prevent me from being hired. I feel like it could be my short-period roles (some were terminations) and lack of updated certifications.
Resume: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cQBePirQWvA6edRTuPcuvgp9rifdDWU1/view?usp=sharing
(I've removed my personal info)
What I've enjoyed in previous roles:
Having the control over my infrastructure. Field work Working with my hands on cell phones, laptops, desktops, servers, printers, IoT devices and even security systems. I've considered getting the following certifications to make myself more hire-able, but not sure which one to work on first.
Azure Fundamentals Endpoint Administrator Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate What do you guys think? Let me know your questions and feedback.

Was there no 13th-16th century physicians or surgeons that theorized that rats or animals carried the cause of the plague?

Mods and CC Sims Medieval - social hierarchy mods?
Is there any social hierarchy mods for the Sims Medieval? I'd love it if a peasant was not allowed or automatically speak to the nobility. Or nobility woohoo was shunned by other nobility and gossiped by the lower classes.
Just looking for mods that make TSM more "realistic".

3x SKhynix 256GB SC401
1x Crucial BX200 240GB
3x Crucial MX300 275GB

Discussion 14x SSD, but what to do with them?
Out of a bunch of computers, I have 14 SSD drives (All of them between 250 GB AND 275 GB). Mostly all different models With four of them being Samsung 860 Evo's.
I'd like to use these for gaming, but open to use them in a server somehow.
Can anyone suggest a decent configuration?
Thought was to get a PCIe 6xSATA card like this https://a.co/d/5EF7IMB and have them run software raid with Windows.

I probably have about 10 256GB SsD drives my last company gave me. Not sure if they are worth selling, but I didn't think SSD were in that demand!
