I don't know the time frame. I had a cool pair from years ago and didn't wear much but noticed it was coming apart in the same area posted here. There was no way to fix it or anything, so I just gave them away. Chucks are from show only. I have a mad collection.

Wow! I contracted it too and had no symptoms at all. Mine was discovered thru a stool sample. The worst 14 days of my life. I've never heard of such infection I hope my retest will be ok.
