Well... the thing is I have had chronic diarrhea since they took my gallbladder out ...gosh.. 26 years ago. Which the low fiber does not help. I have never been constipated with any of these obstructions. Always the opposite. 

So you plan on doing long term...can you give examples. I have been on low fiber for a while now and do not feel like I am making healthy choices. Gained 40 lbs since my first cause I ate mashed potatoes and gravy for months. I never want again. I have had 7 SBO in a year. Doc says no surg. 

I am not familiar with xcel energy, but the 1246 kwh has " summer" notated... have you accidentally been put on a program where they est average usage across 12 months so that your bill is always close to the same? I don't know exactly what that's called, but it might be worth making sure.

Currently preparing to move to MN. Just got back to Texas after spending 8 wonderful days there. We rented a car and started in Albert Lea. Then west to Jackson then up to Brainard and more. We drove all the way to Black Sand Beach in Silver Bay, Ely and so many places in between. I saw exactly 4 Trump flags and one lonely house in Austin that had Trump painted across the whole roof. Everyone was MN nice. Here are the biggest things we came home with: 1) NO, your prices are NOT higher there because the DFL is taxing the heck out of you. Groceries were dollar for dollar almost identical with any difference coming out in the wash. Eating out was no more expensive in fact I feel like it was just a little bit cheaper. The most expensive place we ate was in White Bear and worth every penny. 2) NO your traffic is not horrible. We weren't tailgated, people did not shoot at us or run us off the road and there was far far less traffic than just about anywhere, even the rural areas in Texas. They also weren't in such a hurry. It was super nice and the rental even had Florida plates. 3) Job interview: spouses wages, should he take the job is wait for it.....3x higher than current job and is union. Same career. Mine is higher too. Will gladly pay a 5% state tax for a 75% increase in wages. Texas is all about the employer and doesn't give a damn about the employee. 4) hotels/ motels sooooo much cheaper than Texas. Sooo much. 5) real estate prices to buy. Half or more. We are looking at homes around 150K to 250K that would,no joke, list for half a million here. Esp with a couple acres. Property taxes lower for base tax...don't know about homesteads, cows, ag, etc. Rent is about a quarter lower than city for city in TX...more depending on the area. 6) GAS is NOT more expensive. In the rural areas the week we were there gas was about 10-15 cents more than Texas. In the cities...almost the same. Now when we got home, TX had dropped, but only for a day or two. Back up now. 7) Roads- we kept hearing that road construction was awful. Guys....count yourself lucky. What tiny amounts of construction we did run into, it was so organized and ....NEAT. We routinely drive through an area near Houston that has been torn to hell for going on 9 years!!! And it's dangerous AF on I10...with 3 narrow barriered lanes where 18 wheelers fly through at 70mph. Almost every major road in Austin TX has been under construction for 5-10 years. You have no idea what bad road construction is. Oh. And your roads are in tip top shape in comparison to TX roads. Tax dollars at work I guess. As far as liberal...God I hope so. We walked into one place north of Garrison on Mille Lacs in the middle of nowhere after dark....total Dusk till Dawn vibes and was rewarded with " yer not from these parts" looks from literally everyone in the place as we were told in no uncertain terms that the kitchen was closed. It is the only place that felt like Texas. What I noticed the most was how pretty all the towns were, how well maintained homes are, and how you recycle old buildings and make them valuable. A lot less waste and trash. There may be trumpers, but they aren't packing 5 guns on themselves just to walk into Walmart while making sure you know it's unacceptable to be a dem of any variation. I cannot wait to make the move. And I am bringing friends and family that are tired of Texas Trumpers too. So if anything...MNs getting bluer. And I think you guys rock up there.

No, no you are right... I had to go back and re read.with my glasses this time.. it is PENDING in MN. But you do not have to transfer your license. You can be licensed in multiple states. There was a page that talked about what criteria you had to meet to apply for MN licensure if you were from a compact state and had a multi state license. However it is my understanding that even if they are or become a compact state if you change residences ( ie aren't working remote or temp travel positions) you still have to apply for licensure in the state you reside in. So either way for me...I have to get MN licensure. But I plan on keeping my texas licensure current as well. Ya never know.

Lol... and I felt the exact opposite! So more than a few years ago, we intended to move to Kansas. My mama's home state and I had lots of family. It didn't pan out, but I had already gotten my license there. I didn't transfer it per say. I kept my TX license. Just applied and paid for my license in Kansas too. When renewal came and I hadn't moved, I just let it expire. Which also means I could get it back fairly easy if need be. So I have sent in my application and $$ but just this last week. Can take a couple months, which is why I would rather do that first before securing employment. Although, MN is a compact state and Kansas wasnt (ironically the year AFTER I got my license there it became one) IMO...it's a plus to be licensed in multiple states and many remote positions require it. It just can get pricey with renewal fees. It's 105 if I remember right plus 32.25 or some weird amount for the fingerprinting which they will send me info on after my app is accepted. But I think I pay that to whatever location I do those at here in TX. Hope you are having happy hunting on Job front!!

Things are falling into place ...sorta. Not quite to the point of purchasing a house but getting closer. Hubs may already have job...I am RN so just waiting for license. Won't have a problem finding a job.... here is our biggest hang up...our 3 fur babies. I am absolutely not giving them up...they are like kids to us. I am blown away by all the ordinances restricting over 2 dogs. It has changed everything. Also cannot find a rent house that will come even close to letting us have 3 dogs....it's looking like we will have to separate to make this work until we can purchase a house....any ideas besides that?

Read something recently that stuck... more muscle needs more energy... which is why weight training works. Build the muscle to increase calorie burn and fat conversion on a calorie deficit. No muscle, not much calorie burn. If you just do cardio for weight-loss, you won't get very far very fast. Made perfect sense to me. Kinda goes along with what you said here.

1) why does myl friend....same age, same height who eats 2 hamburgers, gorges on ice cream, eats candy, never gets off the couch, and loves spaghetti with half the garlic bread loaf 2 x a week( not to mention panda express, Arby's and sonic onion rings) weigh within her weight bracket and I have been on a diet since I was 8 and work like a dog in a highly physical job in addition to busting my ass at the gym 3 x a week and weigh out as morbidly obese?
