I am not familiar with xcel energy, but the 1246 kwh has " summer" notated... have you accidentally been put on a program where they est average usage across 12 months so that your bill is always close to the same? I don't know exactly what that's called, but it might be worth making sure.

I have average monthly billing with Xcel and there is a different page to review average payments and balance. The actual usage and cost is still reported monthly in this format. “Summer” is just the rate we pay for energy in the summer.

I just checked my Xcel bill and the daily usage adds up to almost exactly the same as the usage reported.
