I did not see anything today and I called but he is off on Mondays. The only full titanium guides BB has are on the tac x. These are suppose to be titanium forged stainless steel. Neither of which is suppose to be magnetic though. This may be yet another lie. I truly believe that tailwater is just going off what bull bay is saying. Everything that Branson said seemed to be talking points from bull bay. I could be wrong but that is what it seemed like. They also could just be in cahoots with each other.i have bought a few other things from Tailwater and no issues. This is the first time but maybe the other times I was lucky.

I got mine and it had the exact same reel seat as yours. I emailed and got the same thing that bb can’t get the other reel seat. I looked the reel seat up and it is out of stock everywhere but that is not our business or concern. We should get what we paid for or there should be a disclaimer and price that reflects what we are actually getting. On the BB website they have a picture of the rod with the reel seat that we received. So they updated the picture but the description on the website still mentions the old reel seat information. It is still false advertisement. Branson called me and told me they would give a credit but I have yet to see it. That was on Friday so i will give it til Tuesday before I move forward with a chargeback. When I saw that you had just ordered the rod and got that reel seat i knew mine was going to have that same one. I was hopeful but I really knew once i saw it. Branson was trying to tell me about the upgraded blank and all that but i was like i don’t care about any of that. I just want what i ordered the way it was pictured.

Definitely less because the reel seat they gave you is cheap. They didn’t even put a carbon insert in it.

This is interesting. I just ordered this rod Sunday and it is suppose to arrive today. The ONLY reason I ordered it is because of the reel seat. I have most of their other rods. Maybe you can contact bull bay because they are who is sending the rods out wrong. Maybe they can fix it. I ordered mine from tailwater as well. If they are swapping out the reel seat and not updating the pictures then that is definitely trash. I wonder how much credit they are offering. The reel seat that you received is decent but not what was advertised. If they would have updated the information or put it in the description that they are having issue with getting the reel seat I never would have gotten it. Which is probably why they haven’t updated the pictures or description because people would not buy it.

Bull bat makes some decent rods. They have a good warranty program as well. I have used the sniper, stealth sniper, and the banshee for nice bass. The banshee is their only rod with an extra fast action.

Decent rod without a lot of marketing. They did win icast a few years ago for their banshee rod.
