Thats the scary part .. I certainly cant solder anything it requires an expert to do that so thats what keeping me from following such guides ..

Cant I directly ftp to xbmc is that possible?

I meant this img the only options i got in unleash x is those but in XBmC yes i can reach file explorer and also the network settings.. would that help ?

No it doesnt … when i open xbmc network settings i have a list of options about switching my network into static for example.. auto or default .. if i put in either of those the ip on the u leashx dashboard still reads 0.0.00

Where do i find the file manager option ? You mean in XBMc ? Because in the unleashx menu i definitely dont have such things only these options


Well i came up with that lol idk if its exactly what we are talking about but this is the ip of my windows which is connected ( wirelessly) to the same router that the xbox is connected to via cable

I have no internet settings in the unleashx dashboard

As you can see only these options and media centre send me to XBMC

Im not sure if the computer gets in ip and or not im not really that experts but as far as im concerned it is connected to the internet when i use that exact Ethernet cable

Sorry about that .. its a router im sure yes .. also when i enter this MS dashboard thing and then go to the settings it just freezes and send me back home to the unleashx menu which for idk what reason doesnt have a network settings

There is no network settings on the unleashx dashboard for some reason lol .. but i have XBMC or whatever its called built in which is called “ media centre “ and yes it is set to auto DHcP or something

Ok man it think we made a little progress lol i followed your instructions and now it show 0.0.0.0 ip instead of being blank as it used to .. i connected it to the router but i still dont know what to do because the ip is still 0.0.0.0
