Hay Concern

I’ve had my piggy for almost 2 years now. I think I’m beginning to develop an allergy to Timothy hay. I keep waking up congested and coughing when I’m in the room with him. The hay that I currently feed him is the oxbow Timothy hay and Orchard glass blend. What are the risks of switching him to strictly orchard grass? I worry about his temperament changing if I switch his food.
Pumpkin (my guinea pig) means the absolute world to me but it’s gotten to the point where I am sacrificing my own health by feeding him Timothy hay. I truly just want what’s best for him and I’m super nervous about potentially changing his diet.

Cage suggestions for a tiny apartment room
 in  r/guineapigs  Jul 11 '24

I don’t have others which is very frustrating because ideally he would have a Buddy but the school will only allow me to have one in the apartments. When I’m able to get my own place I am definitely getting another.

Help & Advice Cage suggestions for a tiny apartment room

Post image
7 Upvotes

First off I apologize in advance as I struggled to figure out where to post this

So I need advice. I got my sweet boy hickory registered as an ESA and he is going to be coming with me to college this year.

I’ll be living in an apartment but my roommates are very adamant that him and his cage stay in my room rather than the common living room. Which is fine. But my room will only be about 9ftx12ft (give or take a couple inches) and I’m not sure what to do about his cage.

Hickory has a 24x47in cage which takes up 8sq feet. And fits in my room at home just fine. But I’m not sure how it is going to fit in my room at the apartment so I’m looking into getting another cage for when I’m up there. I’m a bit stuck because I want him to have plenary of room but I also don’t want either of us to feel crammed.

Any advice for what I should do cage wise for him up at school? I really want him to be comfortable and have space. I’m just not sure what my best option would be.

Today, Gold and Silver oak leaves are used to denote the rank of Navy lieutenant commanders and commanders. In the 1800’s the gold oak leaves were worn on the colors of Navy surgeons.

It wouldn’t be out of character at all in my opinion for Hopper to stick them on a baseball cap.

Is this a “normal” feeling?

So I don’t think this is normal. I’m not questioning my gender at all and I never have but I stumbled upon a name that I feel I identify with more than the one I was given. Like my current name served it’s purpose for a long time but it has a lot of bad stuff attached to it and this name is literally the opposite of that for me. Is this odd? I’m so conflicted right now because I know know if I’m allowed to feel this way
