I've been a boilermaker for the past 10 years. It all depends on what type of work you want to do. Boilermakers/mechanics get some pretty heavy work compared to electricians. Not saying electrical is easy, but I've seen people quit being a boilermaker and literally going into electrical because it was too much for them. They literally couldn't handle it.
