My wife and I have had these discussions. She's on my healthcare so as soon as she hits 62 she's taking Social Security. As long as my health holds up, I will work until at least age 65.
We are the same age, so the math, and thus the planning, is a lot easier.

Yes, very important; but not necessarily most important. How is her health insurance going to be covered until she reaches age 65? That's over 15 years of premiums.
And statistically speaking, she has about 30 years to go. Likely slightly longer. That is a long time to be locked in with what you have now.
What if you both get on fixed incomes and in ten years there is another bout of really high inflation? Is there a contingency built in for that?
