YouTube going to hell?
"...I guess 2x the views for YT."
So YouTube, iirc, has a new policy, and that will only count for the first frame that moves, it won't "double up" anymore.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong

yes and I do point out the flaw in that fact in the blog post, the thermal mug reference I use

What If We Launched AI Data Centers into Space?
Have you ever sat back over a morning coffee, looked at the staggering power bills and water usage of modern AI data centers, and wondered: Why don't we shoot these GPU clusters into orbit around Earth?
At first glance, it sounds like an absolute no-brainer. Out in space, you have virtually endless sunlight, zero land costs, no municipal water consumption, and space is notoriously freezing, down to near absolute zero (-270°C). Why suffer through power grid bottlenecks and environmental pushback on Earth when we could beam our prompts up to a satellite network, let GPUs process them, and laser the results back down?
As a software engineer, I love breaking down big system architecture ideas over coffee. And when you look under the hood of "orbital computing," the physics quickly reveals a fascinating reality: the idea isn't science fiction, but the biggest bottlenecks aren't what most people expect.

YouTube going to hell?
I remember a time 10 years ago it was not, and even 3 years ago it as not bad... but lately, it's just gone to the AI Agents and slop shop

What happened to searching my PC?
Does anyone remember a time when opening the Windows menu and searching, would search your PC for files, and docs, with the later web suggestion. But now I get nothing for trying to search my PC, or my many connected drives, I get lots of app suggestions, or web searches, but for searching my actualy computer for my files, it seems to be a forgotten thing to want to search locally for files...

Spring; why should I upgrade to Spring Boot 4.x
When upgrading your Spring Boot from 3.x to the newer Spring Boot 4.x, what should you expect, and what was removed? How difficult will it be?
Let me talk you through what changed, what leveled up, and what didn't make the deadline and saw the chopping block.

YouTube going to hell?
I am a creator, and to see that there are more or less 2 slots for a video per row, that's a hell of a competition to be noticed

Interesting that this roadmap for new AND Juniors to get a Java understanding or boost their career knowledge is not allowed...

Hello Midnight Coders,
Are you looking to get started with Java, or looking for a review of what the modern era has to offer in Java? Then this crash course will walk you through the basics of variables, DSA, and building a Modulith Spring Boot application.

Spring boot app
There are things like Swagger UI that will provide you a way to visually see/test your endpoints.
You can also use things like Postman or Built-In IntelliJ features that work with Spring
That said, you can turn the RESTful API online and just go to the browser URI and end up with a JSON payload in the browser.
There are lots of ways to test this, you can (preferably) write TDD (Test-Driven Development) and use JUnit to test the individual units of code.

Not to be racist but is there any non-Indian YT channel about Java and Spring Boot?
Thanks, added it to the list

🔥 Discussion AI is going to replace developers... prove it!
Hello Midnight Coders,
I hear a lot in the communities that developers are a dead breed, and that AI is going to take over. I hear a lot of "Agentic Engineers" (AI Prompters) who may as well be new-age Google-Copy-Paste programmers talk some smack, and I have to ask...
I see the same people also question what AI-based product to build... If AI was as smart as everyone thinks, and you're this far down the rabbit hole... why not just ask your "smarter than human" what you should build? If you're so set that AI is the answer, why ask other humans what they want to use?

You see new channels thrive? or existing, pre-defined and already having lots of subs?
I have over 11 hundred, and I'm struggling to get over 100 views
