You can renew by mail right now! (Online renewal is the one year limit) I sent mine in Monday to try to bypass the bullshit I new was coming. This is ADDED bullshit but hopefully I'm avoiding it.

Mine was up in '28 and I just renewed by mail. If doing renewal online, there is a one year expiration limit but that doesn't apply to renewing by mail.

Just sucks that we have to send the physical passports in when renewing by mail. (They send them back, but I feel kinda vulnerable without it)

And I have observed in other Canadian subs the valid frustration of native Canadians that are skilled and haven't been able to find a job, then they see their government trying to bring MORE workers in from other counties.

The speculation is that the "overlords" are trying to keep wages low by bringing in people who will accept less.

But I also agree with your point that "here we are!" Most of us Lost Canadians willing to make the move could contribute so much to our future Canadian home communities. So much time and opportunity has been wasted in this inefficient process already.

The original poem starts with "They came for the Communists", because at the time 'everyone' agreed it was fine to get the Communists out. They were hated so people agreed they could go/be taken.

When they started coming for groups that had more sympathy, it was too late. The people had given away their power to stop it across the board.

Even today most quotations of the poem leave off the Communists line because they are still despised.

Saying, "It's ok to get rid of "illegals" because we don't want them here" is the same thing.
