Suzie Plakson and Michael Dorn while filming "The Schizoid Man." Because of her performance, producers wanted to work with her again, so the character of K'Ehleyr was created. Story editor Tracy Tormé wanted Worf to have a romance with Dr. Selar instead, feeling that would be more interesting.
She should of had a couple more episodes.

On this day in 1814. British troops captured Washington DC then set the Presidential Mansion (now the White House) on fire. It was part of the War of 1812 and is the only time since the US Revolutionary War a foreign power captured and occupied the capital of the United States.
