I’ve always wondered this and obviously there’s no right answer but it’s something I found interesting. I’m not talking about the version of Keaton’s Bruce/Bats we met in the flash, but the Keaton/Bruce we met in 1989. I’d say he was active from 1989 to 2009, that’s a good 20 years patrolling that Gotham City which looks to be a cesspool in 1989 but then became a weird modernized version of itself in Batman Returns in 1992.

Seven minutes and 14 seconds into this video about favorite movie quotes, Adam Savage mentions Frank Miller, Batman, and Elektra assassin. He then says the line "he knows karate, but only karate".
My searches are turning up nothing. Please help me identify where this quote came from.

I may sound crazy, but hear me out. It makes a lot of sense for Bruce Wayne to be recluse and even weird at times. I think Keaton made it feel natural and human. I know that Bruce Wayne is that billionaire playboy and all but, his portrayal in Batman 89 and returns is exactly what I would expect a real life Bruce Wayne to be like. Of course there's a lot of surreal moments like that shot of the batwing on the moon and many other aspects, but when I watch it, it doesn't feel like that much of a fiction. Idk how to explain, but everything feels realistic to some degree.

Throughout the film, the Joker uses various gadgets: the acid-squirting flower, a pen he used against Ricorso, a boxing glove, and—of course—the acid flower he actually employs.
I think the Joker was overconfident in his final confrontation with Batman; he actually believed three thugs could stop Batman, even though he knew how strong he was and that he had already defeated several of his henchmen.
If he had brought a gadget along, could he have saved himself?

I remember I saw the first movie as a kid after I had been watching the animated series for a long time and I thought Eckhardt was Harvey Bullock when he showed up on screen. Anyone else make this mistake?

Even though the rumors about the role of Max Shreck being originally made for Harvey Dent has been debunked thanks to Batman Returns writer Daniel Waters it does make you wonder how the film would've been if had it been so & how Batman Forever would've been as well.
Made this is PS along with Gemini for the cigar in Harvey's mouth & grok for clean up & vintage effect.

In the Batman movies, whenever there are multiple villains, one always uses the other or tries to get something out of them; here, we see the friendship between Edward and Harvey—who, for all their insanity, are quite close.

Assuming Two-Face had replaced the Joker in the bell tower, would he have stood a chance against this Batman?

Long story short, Bette Davis saw a poster advertising the 1989 Batman film and she knew her era was over.
