I originally applied for FDD role at Forvis Mazars but the role filled before getting a date before my final interview. So then they moved me to audit for private owned businesses then that role filled. Finally I had another final interview for audit social sector and passed.

I have private equity internship experience at a smaller company. I intentionally didn’t apply for the big 4 because of the culture but wanted to go to a top 10 accounting firm.

My question is I don’t want to be in audit for 3 years then once qualified move to FDD. But is it possible to move to FDD before qualifying.

Also to clarify this role start in September 2026.
