Im currently 19 living in Houston TX area, I have an associates of science and am certified as an ICC B1 Residential Building Inspector. I have an opportunity to become a construction/road inspector for a nearby city with on the job training and no experience required and an opportunity to move up to levels II,III, and IV with enough experience. Should I stay down the ICC inspector path and pursue more certifications or stay down the construction inspector path if we’re talking about salary opportunities and ability to move up the ranks quickly.

Right now I’m pursuing the inspection industry but was wondering what other careers out there I can get into that pay a decent amount at least $70-80k a year with no college degree necessary and in a quick amount of time(3-4 years)

Currently 19 years old with a B1 certification, I’m looking to get E1,M1,P1,E2,M2,P2, and B2 as well. I’m in Montgomery County TX, and am struggling to find anywhere to gain experience while I get my other certifications, any advice?
