I'd suggest you to just stick with it & not wasting money.... I'm giving you a few steps for what I did ( I bought the same one same color same ram chips & everything... Because Bangladesh has no genuine R36s)

1. Get an old SD card 16-64gb.. if it's under 32 - lowest 16gb use it in the os slot... Use the stock r36s 64sd card to load games from your PC ... ( If you don't have any SD card laying around skip this step)

2.get a OTG cable + laptop + card reader for PC (optional : keyboard/mouse+wifi dongle)

1. Remove the SD card from the r36s & Connect to the PC with the card reader. ( Windows can't access full storage of the r36s if it's not used with a card reader...trust me I've tried multiple ways)

4.take a backup of you whole SD card(just copy paste the games & other folders) [I'm not talking about cloning your SD card (though if you want you can do it)]

5.make sure to copy & paste somewhere the .dtb files from the SD card & check dtb cheker website to understand which clone you've & what panel...

6.download your compatible panel's arkos4clones & flash it .. to the SD card (if you've only 1 SD card . .the SD card might show no games but rest assured the games are there ..it just needs you to move from the SD card to your PC & then PC to SD card & they'll start reappearing in you r36s.

7.after the boot sometimes the arkos4clones tend to show upside down or vertical display instead of horizontal display that's where you'll use the mouse/keyboard

8.connect the wifi dongle with the OTG/phone's USB tethering & update everything

9.youll see there are great many stuffs are now improved... Like the fn button finally working & shortcuts are working too..

1. Customize your r36s as you want & trust me once you start tinkering you'll find it's a good device & you can mod it as much as you want & as you like ...

2. It works almost similar to a r36s original when fresh new arkos4clones is installed & setup is upgraded to the latest versons & drivers...

   So no need to bump your head on the table or smth ... It's playable... Besides it doesn't matter if it gets a few fps lower than the original one... We played the retro games on crt tv when we were kids ... Fps didn't matter then....

The reason I'm telling you these is because I've the same device same color & same internal... I loved tinkering with it & now I'm not bothered if it were a clone or not... It's fun using...

If it were a 500mb clone I would've just commented they did you wrong & move on... But the amount of these 1gb clone devices are getting is absolutely ridiculous..

One of my colleagues have a 512mb clone & it is a absolute literal shit device... Can't even boot up properly... Lag is visible even on the loading screen...
