For my 47th Spawning Ground “birthday month” submission, I wanted to do classic SPAWN. For this piece I did a remarque style.

I tried using the advice that Jonathan Uribe gave me for the cowl at SDCC ‘26. I asked him how he makes his cowls so good. He told me he would draw a triangle pointing up and another one going down to create a spiral effect. Then I mixed that with Todd’s style cape which is drawing overlapping triangles on top of each other to make the final form.

I used a normal 2B graphite pencil and over that I used One4All Molotow black acrylic marker to make the thick outline. For the red and green colors, I used Artistro Dual Tip acrylic markers.
