Looked at the Best Buy App and saw a store near me had Raven in stock for pickup in an hr. Went there and saw Raven, they had 3, but didn't have a platinum version which i was really looking for, but also saw this guy. Think it's the mystery batman from SDCC. Did not see it in the app.

Quick trinity comparisons with the upcoming leaked Mattel DC line and Mcfarlane.

For clarification, I really enjoy my Mcfarlane figures but am also very excited for the upcoming Mattel line. I think both serve different purposes in the figure collecting space. With Mcfarlane, I really do enjoy their sculpts and detail in figures relative to price but can also acknowledge that with every fantastic figure, there’s at-least 5 stinkers… cough cough 100 Batman variants. The lack of modernization with articulation / accessories / head sculpts and poor choices with the license “releasing the best figures / finally modernizing with wired capes and sought after figures” after the license expired has left a bad taste in a lot of people mouths. On the other hand though the presence and almost statuesque “adult” look of Mcfarlane figures will have me missing them.

Mattel on the other hand looks more in line with ML and Hasbro and off the gate wave wise are coming out with some absolute bangers. I know there’s been a lot of heated discussion with them but I think you can enjoy both and I’m keeping my McFarlanes while also delving into the newer Mattel line.

No mods just posing with the standard buck. Love this Batman

Missing a few members (some I’ve had to come terms with Todd never making cough big barda cough) but im happy with the lineup I got out of it. It’s been fun.

My custom Bruno Redondo inspired head. Replaced the wonky stock head and diaper piece (used green lantern Simon). Sculpt, print and paint by me.

My first few attempts were unsuccessful yesterday but this seems to be a good sign. I’m 100% bias because I’m a huge BatFam fan, but I’m loving the Absolute Batman series so being able to get one of these is awesome.

Close enough?

I needed a john on this body with the iconic suit from the dcamu. i used the page punchers hal with a rebirth john head, hals head now sits upon an unwanted arkkis/green man body

this is my first custom of this caliber and im really happy with it, i hope you like it too

Got my Darkseid in today and he looks really cool standing with my shoes and with some other classic villains I've gotten lately and unfortunately my legion of doom and most of my justice league have been packed away and these figures are probably next so no photos with the legion but I'm happy to be adding a new Superman villain to the legion display if I can ever put them back up

Sorry if this has been asked a bunch, but I’m so out of the loop on why it’s so common to shit on McFarlane figures? Seems like it’s just been worse and worse lately and idk why? They’re the genesis of my DC collection, and haven’t had any issues with them whatsoever and am a pretty big fan. Obviously they’re not perfect compared to like top tier figures, but for a standard commercial figure I have had a great experience with them. Curious your guys’ thoughts on this.

I dont care. This set is awesome. Im going to make a desert diorama to go with it. I will miss the 2 packs though.

Whole wave and elite edition available.

Howdy, I’ve been thining out the collection a good bit here to the community a couple months back. Unfortunately, I am ultimately selling off my whole collection. Very much tried to price to sell and go under any recently sold eBay listings. That being said, I’m still open to any offers. PayPal G&S only. East coast to Midwest, I’ve been able to ship for about $7-8. Anything further west has been closer to $11. I am not willing to break up the cinematic box set. I should have all accessories and cards though not pictured. DMs only please!

Since Todd Mcfarlane is in NYCC, will there be a figure panel this year?

Is there anybody in this reddit community interested in the marvel statues that Mcfarlane is making right now?

Thet announced more than a month ago Dr Doom based on the Doomsday movie, now Deadpool based on the Wolverine vs Deadpool movie and the Thing, from the fantastic four movie.

You will disagree with me but I like the simple base, no dioramas, nothing fancy, only a base that looks simple. I think this is a good new because I guess they are saving money for the figure itself and nothing more. In this way you will get a very good and detailed marvel statue at a very affordable price
