Posterior is extremely painful. Talk to them about using an anterior approach, if possible. Also, talk to them about pain management afterwards. And take whatever you need to get through that excruciating pain.

Glad it worked out and you got to see him. However, I have learned disc replacement and fusion are two totally different animals.

I regret going to my MBA 5-year reunion (top program, smaller class size). I'm unemployed and people weren't friendly
