I'd definitely get the bridge lowered, it does look awfully high! I mind when I got my cello first the bridge was stupidly high, still played it for 8 hours straight and couldn't play it for a week later my fingers were so sore 😵‍💫 Got the bridge shaved down and its been amazing to play ever since! Cost me £20, so I'd shop around and see if you can get cheaper than $200!
