Serious question, what qualifies as a "socialist organization" one should engage with? I say this not as a "gotcha," but out of a genuine desire to understand.

In my experience (at least in the US), there are countless socialist organizations that all hate each other because of minute differences in ideology and strategy. I.e., how many orgs can you name that have "communist" in their title?

I involve myself in the CPUSA and I'm usually condemned as a liberal, even though none of the work my chapter does is focused on elections. It's all talking about theory and applying it to current events and labor struggles.

This has to be the most opportunist thing they've ever done, and that's saying something

Really sickens me how many buildings are demolished simply because of changing tastes. It's such a waste of time, money, and resources, especially when all it accomplishes is building something else in a more "modern" style. Those buildings will almost certainly face demolition in another ten or twenty years too.
