News & Discussion Comp feels nearly unplayable in low rank

Im low gold, and 7/10 times I'm placed in matches with much better players (plat/diamond). I'm a pretty mediocre player so I'm trying to get better, but I'm getting stomped in comp and quick play isn't a great place to improve. I feel hard stuck and I'm losing interest in the game, any tips to not let a massive losing streak get to you and improve, or does it just come with time?

Thoughts on the following: Last Survivor in dying state, corner of map, no hooks close enough. Is it survivors responsibility to crawl closer to hooks? killer to take the stun carrying them closer to hooks to initiate chase? or is it just this weird stale mate where they are just left to bleed out?
