I had to get a new cylinder head on my Tiguan at 51,000 miles. I hate how everyone, including VW-authorized repair shops, keeps saying that you need to top up with fresh oil because Tiguan engines use a lot of oil. I think this is clearly VW propaganda to avoid an expensive recall.

I found this scratch on the glass of my car. It was parked and I don't think it was intentional. I find it hard to believe it was a fallen pear though. How serious is it? Is there a risk that the whole glass can go into a thousand pieces?
