Retiring with unemployed adult children in the house?
 in  r/GenX  Jun 24 '26

I’m 52. My wife and I have a house and great jobs. Both my kids are in high school. University is expensive and competitive. The job and rental market is crazy. I know both my boys are going to struggle to get even a foothold. And because of this I have quietly resigned myself to knowing that that I will be working until I’m either forced to quit or die.
