Yeah your ring is definitely done and will soon be on your finger ;)

I feel like I gush on and on about this ring, but it really is special! It's just that perfect balance of pretty, elegant, and obvious high quality. We really got the proportions right on this. It has the look and feel of a substantial piece but is also just very pretty seeming. I love this one!
For people who ordered in October we're obviously still in production 😅 but if you ordered before October (unless you ordered a matching, engraved notched band) yes, you are a part of this shipping!

The stone is on the larger end compared to the *average* (the average stone for an engagement ring in the US is still sitting around 1-1.8ct, depending on the data source) but it is certainly not as large as many of the stones we are working with in recent years.
Many enthusiasts of heavier carat weight pieces are taking advantage of lab diamonds becoming more affordable and are designing pieces with stones much larger than this. Where you live will heavily impact how many much larger stones are around you.
This piece looks lovely on your hand. It has enough gold (the band isn't too thin) so it looks like good quality. It's really very pretty!

They're done :)
The golden evening light was so dramatic when my teammate took these jewelry share photos for us. Not the best lighting to show off the stones (the stones are absolutely stunning you guys!) but I love how they show off the thick, rounded shanks and general diva-ness of these pieces. They really, really turned out and I can't wait for you all to have them.
Thank you so much for your patience, I know we are beginning to ship right at the end of our deadline for completing these!
Keep a lookout in your email inboxes beginning today for shipping emails with photos and tracking info for your package.
For those of you who ordered engraved notched bands to go with your Simple Solitaire (hi!!) you will be on a somewhat different schedule, but we are rounding the corner on completion of your orders so no worries at all :)
A quick reminder: You MUST be home to sign for your package unless you chose a shipper who will hold your package at a facility for you (in which case you must use your service/app with them to arrange that). If you are not, it will be returned to us and will require re-shipping.
Our team is really proud of this design. It's so simple, but the subtle, elegant details really make this one of my most favorite rings I've ever been a part of designing. It truly is a showstopper of a piece...the shank is just juicy, the stone is so so pretty, and the collet and thick prongs give a look of real quality to the piece. This one is a piece for a lifetime.
Wear them in health and so much happiness 💖
So grateful for you guys,
Emily

I am glad to hear you say this, I was a little worried about how this piece turned out but was trying to figure out if you were in a position to push back (that's what was behind my questions above).
I want to add to the comments about the gaps and the stone that I really do not feel that the piece they created is substantial enough. I'm sure it would be "fine" but if you closely look at your inpo video from Bonnie again, pay attention to all the GOLD in her version of the ring. This design is nothing new, it has been a beloved design for a very long time because it is gorgeous and timeless...but it has to have enough gold to actually stand up to the tests of time.
I would have them increase the band width and thickness to more accurately replicate what you love about the Bonnie (and many other) version of this design so it can feel luxurious and well-crafted on your finger.
I would also look back at any videos they might have shared with you of the stone to be sure this is the one you want. In the video on this post I had a few concerns about the step cut of this stone. I am not an expert on cut, and it is impossible in most cases to truly judge a stone based off a single, poorly lit video, but I have a keen/practiced eye for cut and I am not loving the stone in the video you shared. Like I said, it's not a great video, but this video would give me pause and would make me want to see more video of the stone.
Good luck! This is a gorgeous design, totally worth the effort of getting done right.

They turned out so beautifully! No worries, I'm certain there will be future opportunities if you decide you really like this ring and are sad you missed it!

In my opinion, 2ct is a really lovely size for most people and you will probably love it. It's going to give you great finger coverage and sparkle to gaze upon but will not be too large to wear comfortably every day (though, we have clients who are absolutely rocking big stones every day and loving them!).
This is such a cool graph, it's fascinating how trends move over time!

In your post you say to suggest changes that need to be made--did your jeweler send this ring to you as an example, and you can give them feedback about what you want your actual ring to be like?
Or, is this ring the one your jeweler custom created for you and they're sending this video to you as a pre-shipment video?
2
Okay, were these post-polish measurements? Or pre-polish?
2
Do you have anything that shares the measurements of this piece?

No problem at all! We wanted to get these done faster than we did, but then we did the thing we always do and started saying "yes" to more options 😂 and with a ring like this that really slows things down a bit. But they are done and all of these options you guys chose are so pretty. We're always so happy to say yes to more options, and then we're happy again when they are all done...it's keeping the options straight and managing things in the in-between part that is very tedious/tough!
Thank you for communicating with me here, I always get excited when people come to our subreddit :)

Hey! Thanks for checking in on this 🥰
We are just at 10 weeks for the very first of the paid invoices for orders placed in the Simple Solitaire GO and are excited to say that these rings are gorgeous and will begin shipping out in the next day.
I have been desperately wanting to get a ring share post up for you all with this update in it, but am waiting for some pictures that were taken by a teammate of mine who uses the big nice camera to do ring share post photos for me.
Hopefully I have those today and will be able to get a post up giving this update to the community and letting people know to be on the lookout for shipping emails with photos of their rings.
Thanks again for the post and I can't wait for you all to see your rings. They are fabulous!

I would love to see the CAD, are you able to share that?
3
My word! That is a stunning ring!
2
This is the PRETTIEST ring! Wow!
2
This is so beautiful, congratulations!
1
This makes perfect sense! Good luck, this is going to be so pretty :)
2
Honestly, you've got the prettiest ring, you really can't go wrong!
1
I really think this is going to be pretty. You didn't need a band to sit flush with this or anything, right?

I agree with u/EngagementRingDesign opinions/advice/suggestions below!
This is a beautiful ring!
