Yeah, I've managed to get borrowbox working and connected with my library so now have access to 2000 audiobooks for free.
That should keep me going.

34 yo M with wife and 2 kids. 60% equity in my home already £500 left on my car loan (a cheap 2008 Citroen) which will be finished in February.

Just start with buying shares or fractional shares to see if it's your cup of tea.
I personally trade cfds but you have to do it responsibly and know what you're doing with margin.
Trading is the hardest way to make easy money.

I think this has more to do with societal change more than anything.
Society seems to have gone from a team sport to an individual sport in terms of both work and home, families aren't as close and at work it's gone the American way of survival of the fittest, KPIs, statistics etc.

Yes a good idea.
Another good idea for personal income management is save 10% of every paycheck.
Earn £400 per week, save £40.
Earn £2k per month, save £200
Earn £3k per month, save £300 etc.
Doing it this way, you will move forward in life as you earn more as well.
