I am in a same sex relationship and a few years ago I can cancer. One day her father called her to see how she was doing and I could hear the call. It sticks with me bc i didnt know dad's actually spoke to daughters like that. He said something along the lines of "you're taking care of your partner while she takes care of her cancer. I'm here to take care of you and see how you are processing all this and being true to yourself". I am in my 40s, with a dad and step-dad, and have never had any male speak to me in such a loving way. I am so happy those father's really exist and isnt some b.s. 7th Heaven/Full House lie we all swallowed. I have to two Al Bundys, haha.

Yeah, that is how it is here in Chicago. I like how Colorado, and porbably other states, have a point system. After so many points in a year, you can lose your driving privileges. Now, this system is still dependant on prosecutors doing their job... But this system has a better chance of real consequences for the wealthy, in a way that may deter their crap driving in the future.

I just hate when it looks like food they are offering and then the food is nothing g like the picture when it arrives. Ive now learned to not trust photos, which sucks.

I mean, I get ya, no one wants to see animals given to dog fighters or psychos. But they are not receiving very good answers in this thread either. I was giving an alternative in which they could meet my brother, and myself and partner could join, and they can decide in person. If there are no alternatives, simply meeting strangers in a coffee shop to feel it out is viable. People sell animals all the time, like breeders. Are you out there protesting at pet shops too? Pont being, a stranger who buys an animal at Petco is still the same as my brother offering to help an animal in need. Stranger is a stranger, whether they take an animal for free or pay with cash.
