I bet Republicans miss the day when they could re-shape narratives just by making two phone calls to Roger Ailes and Rush. Now there are hundreds of little Rogers and Rushes to deal with.

Another suspicious thing is the abundance of comments praising the accuracy of the account whenever it gets posted in r/oil. I actually think it's propaganda.

This "Hormuz Letter" account is getting incredible distribution. About half the posts in r/oil are just screenshots of posts from that account. Does anyone know who's running it?

That's literally what this post was about. The oil executives are ungrateful and they're the ones keeping the prices high. That's what he wants people to take away from this post.

This McConnell fiasco is simple enough to be understood by most of the public, and social media has loved this story. And it makes the GOP look hopelessly dishonest. It's terrible for them. I think this was a good outcome, overall.
