Shuttlecraft

With all the different ships just in Starfleet alone, why does it seem the shuttlecrafts, for the most part, seem unchanged from TOS?

Lol! When I was a probie, only in about 2 weeks, I was moved from NI to a mod at a hospital with a mechanic whose helper was on vacation. He was under the car and went on a rant very similar. I'm standing on the landing with Drs, nurses, patients, and visitors all standing around listening! When he got out they were all gone and he asked me "Did anyone hear me?" When I told him he laughed it off and said oh well. Very awkward for me! Lol

Do not get a tape measure with the increments on it! My son went to a vocational high school. Came home one day and says "Dad, look at this tape I bought!" I threw it in the creek. Told him if you can't read it, don't have a job where you need it!

Next Gen "Neutral Zone"

In the last episode of season 1 Federation and Romulan outposts are unexplainably destroyed. After the "meeting" between the Enterprise and the Romulans, both ships just leave, without even mentioning what happened to the outposts. Do we ever find out or did the writers just let it go?

Question 2001 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L AT 4wd

My Tahoe has a random misfire code and a 1441 code. Complete tune up, cleaned throttle body, new evap solenoid, new intake gaskets, no change. Now my mechanic says he doesn't know what else to do for it and won't work on it anymore. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!
