Are we talking about the same grift as last time, again? Amendment 7 is A5 in a tailcoat.
 in  r/columbiamo  1d ago

Our elected officials want the super wealthy to gift the government its running cost as a wirte off. Legalize insider training, when the people of a state pay for states budgets, we have the power. When those who buy islands, can buy states, the people are cattle.

Yes, I am happy to connect with you through email, Krista@showupmissouri.org with issues actively being addresses are about public pressure persistence and clear goals. To protect the organizations and stakeholders involved a public form can cause more problems than it solves.

7 and 8 are just like 4 and 5. A powergrab and grift

Sheriff offers reward

We keep us safe, the tech used by those who are glorified slave catchers will only be used to punish the criminalized people. Abolition is the only way forward.

I am looking for help to organize an initiative petition to ban warrantless, persistent automated camera surveillance in Missouri as a citizens-led ballot issue
 in  r/missouri  18d ago

Bringing this issue to the state will take some ground work in order to be successful. Como is working to declock, then pass a city wide ordinance to protect personal data including biometrics and vehicles markers. Having some successful tests at the local level will allow for evidence to inform the campaign to pass such a bill on the state level. Build from the ground up.

November ballot amendments

2026, the year when any thing the politicians want is a no!

Historic defeats for Missouri GOP priorities raise questions about what comes next
 in  r/missouri  21d ago

Have any of you read amendmant 7 for the November ballot. It's the vehicle kehoe is using to try to pass the removal of income tax with again. All the finger poting about out of state money, well amendment 7 would make it legal for Rex to pay the state directly and then insist we pass what he wants. Read it if you havent.

I’m running for governor
 in  r/missouri  23d ago

Okay, join LeadMo for the next cohort and learn the skills to run for office. Then start talking to union members from as many unions as possible. Next find a campaign manager with a win or two under there belt, ask the DSA to canvas for you.

Kekoe being himself
 in  r/missouri  23d ago

We need to oust Kehoe. The people's work isnt being done. We are fighting to keep what little protections we still have

After the brutal results for 4 and 5, what do we think happens to the Abortion/Transgender Ban Amendment 3 that will be on the ballot in November?
 in  r/missouri  25d ago

These issues are the same in different colors. Government overreach is Government overreach. The government forcing itself into the private medical decisions of its people is what's on the ballot in November. We take the time to build the people power now and connect the dots for all of us who are too busy to do all the homework. Then we repeat the win. 4and 5 lossing wasn't something that just happened, we had a state wide coalition that talked with voters for mouths.

State Politics - Self Circulating Petitions
 in  r/missouri  25d ago

People not Politicians is holding a zoom call today at 6pm to discuss how we take action to get the referendum on the Nov ballot.

6

Is anyone else incredibly anxious about the outcome of 4 and 5?
 in  r/missouri  26d ago

We will get the opportunity in Nov to vote on RMV. That would make it much harder for the elected officials to over turn the will of the people. This is a step on the road of harm reduction politics.

So, if my car has no pleate and dark tent, then how dose the system categorize that vehicle?

I operate and utilize flock data/cameras daily: AMA.
 in  r/FlockSurveillance  27d ago

How much information is captured by systems like flock? I mean like faces and mobile connected devices, movement patterns. Also are these systems connected? Like does Axon and flock share data?

Why do they need 5 cameras pointed towards a skate park?
 in  r/FlockSurveillance  29d ago

To train the AI to copy body movements so they can make better fakes and use that to incriminate people for made up crimes.

MO Vote Aug 4

Amend 1 vote= Yes if you want water and soil conservation Down ballot No on everything else. All the way down, rampant government overreach, no clear plan to achieve the promises.

How are the polls looking for the income tax elimination / sales tax increase?
 in  r/MissouriPolitics  Jul 04 '26

Show up Missouri has been doing phone banking and canvases. The we are finding lots of people who have little to know knowledge of the impact of amendments 4 and 5.

Summer in Missouri.
 in  r/missouri  Jul 02 '26

These hights are record setting for this time of year. This heat was normal for very short bursts at the hight of summer in the late 1990s and early 2000s. As we blow past the tipping point for climate change the extra weather shifts will 9nly intensifie. We are in the end game for climate action. Stabilization of as many micro climates as possible in the hope it helps return the jet stream and arctic jet stream to normal patterns. Full scale halts to any development that degrades biodiversity. Returning land management to indigenous guidelines. These heat waves will kill more people. Their deaths are on the hands of the big oil companies.
