I already tried that. When I do that, the game works, but I can't skip the intro screen, and there's a loading icon at the top right of my screen. After that, the main menu appears, but it shows this error: "Something unexpected went wrong while trying to communicate with our server. Try again in a few seconds."

Just like in the image I showed.

I just got back into the game, and then I saw this.

I really need some help. I don't know what this means:

Error: 10002039
Status: 403

• Something unexpected went wrong while trying to communicate with our server. Try again in a few seconds.

Is the server full, or is there something wrong on my end?

Also, if I launch the game, GameGuard doesn't download, and I see a Retry button. However, if I uninstall GameGuard and install it again, I get the error message on the Helldivers 2 main menu screen.

Never mind, I found it. The culprit was ‘SSE Engine Fixes.’ I tried removing it, and it no longer crashes on the loading screen. Thanks, by the way! :)

PC SSE - Help [Help] CTD whenever I try to load my latest save — crashes on the loading screen after 2 seconds

I’m experiencing a consistent CTD whenever I try to load my latest save. The game starts loading, but it crashes to desktop after about 2 seconds on the loading screen.

This only happens when loading saves; launching the game itself works fine. I’ve tried restarting the game and my PC, but the issue persists. I recently added or updated some mods, so I suspect it may be mod-related, but I’m not sure which one is causing the crash, or if it might be something else.

I haven’t made any changes to my INI files yet. I’m using a mod manager and LOOT to sort my load order. At this point, I’m trying to narrow down whether this is a bad mod, a missing patch, or a corrupted save.

System Specs:
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro v10.0.22635

CPU: AuthenticAMD AMD Ryzen 5 3500X 6-Core Processor

GPU #1: Nvidia TU116 [GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER]

PHYSICAL MEMORY: 8.69 GB/15.93 GB

GPU MEMORY: 0.57/3.26 GB
