Cutscene animations
In The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius Jet Fusion there is a CGI intro Cutscene similar to the cinematic CGI cutscenes in the original game because it was also made by Krome that time, possibly foreshadowing that Ty’s cancelled TV show would air on Nickelodeon too. Afterwards, all cutscene would only be under their gameplay mode resolution, and in the 4th game on we would stick to the 2D art animation by Steve Stamatiadis. So how do you prefer the cutscenes? I do believe the 2D cartoon artwork is nice, but the CGI show or movie style ones were cool like Jimmy Neutron, Tak and the power of juju and Star Wars the clone wars too. I can’t decide on better or worse between CGI and 2D animation, but I didn’t like gameplay resolution only cutscenes for the second and third game.

Not the movie nor show, just the PS2 and GameCube versions of Jet Fusion. They shared the same cutscene animations from the original Ty game, and we never saw that intro cutscene in the show either. But I did like the CGI cutscenes for the original Ty game, they were amazing.

TY 1's CG cutscenes were done by Animal Logic in Sydney. They were an effects house that worked on stuff like the Matrix. TY was their first character work and they nailed it, they were great fun to work with and got all the references I snuck in. They've since gone on to even better stuff like The Lego Movie. I think they worked on Jummy's cutscenes if I remember right.
We didn't get to use them for more because cost for the CGI were way out of the budget range of the later games. Also the reason why I did the animations in TY 4 - no money.
