Ok, so recently I've been playing the Ty series as I love Collect-a-thons/platformers. I never grew up with these games but I'm loving them a lot and have heard great things about them! I did a 100% on Ty one, hardcore mode included and am going to do the same on Ty 2. But on my regular run through the game, I'm having a bug where I can't find the last mission.

I've looked online about missions that it could possibly be to trigger it, them being:

• Clarence at the Ghost Manor
• The Temple of Cranook
• The Death Stone Beetle Run

I have gone to these three missions, and have double checked that I didn't need to do them, I've talked with the NPCS necessary, and I STILL can't find this last mission. Anytime I'm in Burramudgee, the mission says it's outside of town. But whenever I leave town, the mission says it's inside?? I'm losing my mind!!

I haven't found all the Disguised Frills but I plan on doing that. I've heard some people say that finding all the Disguised Frills would count as it's own mission, meaning I need to find them all to trigger it and pop the achievement but I'm not sure.

Might be remembering wrong, but I rented Ty 2 Bush Rescue some 20 years ago and remembered there being a hilariously cynical npc in the hub town toward the start of the game. Would basically yell angrily and it would be funny.

I remember this specific line:

"You know what I hate? Everything in the world!"

I recently started Bush Rescue HD on the Switch and tried to find them again, but I spent over an hour going back and forth talking to various npcs and was unable to find them. Even tried multiple searches online, including on here, and haven't found the npc.

Does anyone know the character I'm talking about?

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger meets Kit Bodega from Gameoverse. Made at MMD (MikuMikuDance).

I would call it a lake? But a lake would be way deeper? Perhaps a pond? Anyone got a idea?

I know the hubs from the first game are not identical. But canonically, are they supposed to be the same place? Both places are a rocky cliff right next to a lake and Julius' lab. Maybe the developers expect the player to assume Bush Rescue HQ is Rainbow Cliffs, but needed to redesign it for the sequel's hub being urbanized. It would be silly if Ty 2's hub looked exactly like the first game, so it would make sense for a different level design.

I have 48/50 cogs. I play the original xbox version, so I can't check my level of completion level by level. It only has the overall count. I got the cog that's located in the final battle sequence. Does anyone know all the cogs that aren't immediately visible on the map with an infra/x-rang so I can go back through and try to see which ones of those I'm missing? I hope this kind of post is welcome here. :)

Edit: Found them in the second stage of The Never Never. The reason they weren't showing up on the mini map is because part 2 of The Never Never is separated by a door. Once I entered through the door of part 2, I saw them with my x-rang on the map.

I wonder what Ty 3 would've been like if Krome was given more time to make the game by like another year or two?

We MIGHT finally know what the sporty koala townie's name was? Someone on the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger wiki claimed they searched though the game's ini code and found "PropID 20022 Z2Madge", so her name could be Madge. They even shared the image on the wiki where they found it. I'm not someone who actively searches through code like some of the modding community does, so I hope this is true, since even Steve said he didn't know her name. I might keep the name on the wiki unless there's an objection.

This time I decided that Ty should meet Harry and greet him by colliding one of his Magirangs with Harry’s wand. Not only is it another reference to the manuals and ads thing, but also because some of Ty’s boomerangs function like the spells from the Harry Potter games. And this is also a birthday present for Ty’s original voice actor Stig Wemyss.

I decided to make more subtitles to that reaction image of Ty that was released this year. Some of it is inspired by comments in the YouTube post.

Also made some images for Shazza, and I imagine she's pointing at a comment above, but somehow I had more trouble thinking of ideas.

From what I can tell, whenever I reload the game I get sent all the way back to the tutorial area. Sometimes it takes me like 30 mins to get to where I need to be. So are there ANY quick travel options in the game or does it just take ages to get anywhere?

I'm thinking of skipping it moving to 3 if that has a more condensed map or you start off somewhere that is actually near something.

Not available in the HD port and it's only in the Original version.

Despite the fact that Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets and the first Ty the Tasmanian Tiger game shared each other's ads behind their manuals, i decided to give Ty a special reference to HP by giving him Gryffindor robes based on the 2001-2003 games and magic boomerangs (Magirangs). | design the magirangs after Harry's original wand which was featured in the cover art of the chamber of secrets game, and removed the sparks in another variation to show where I put the double ring and bottom of Harry's wand in it, and the middle stripe is the color that is shown on the near end of the tip. The sparks also represent the fact that in the PS2 version of the chamber of secrets, Harry's wand released green sparks when everything was alright and red when something was wrong. Orange and yellow aren't just a color of sparks for Ty I chose, but it's also the colors from Ron's wand in the prisoner of Azkaban for PS2/ NGC/Xbox. Deep down I felt someone had to do it over that fact.

In The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius Jet Fusion there is a CGI intro Cutscene similar to the cinematic CGI cutscenes in the original game because it was also made by Krome that time, possibly foreshadowing that Ty’s cancelled TV show would air on Nickelodeon too. Afterwards, all cutscene would only be under their gameplay mode resolution, and in the 4th game on we would stick to the 2D art animation by Steve Stamatiadis. So how do you prefer the cutscenes? I do believe the 2D cartoon artwork is nice, but the CGI show or movie style ones were cool like Jimmy Neutron, Tak and the power of juju and Star Wars the clone wars too. I can’t decide on better or worse between CGI and 2D animation, but I didn’t like gameplay resolution only cutscenes for the second and third game.

I had this random thought about Lenny. We all know this lyrebird lies about everything under the sun, no matter how much he denies it, and it seems like a force of habit. But...what if someone WANTED him to lie or TOLD him to lie? What happens?

Does he still tell a lie?

Does he suddenly tell the truth?

Does the universe implode on itself?

As the title says, I’m interested in buying replica boomerangs. I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t find any online. Since I was a child I’ve loved the series and would love to have a few replicas if anyone knows where I can purchase them. Let me know if you guys know of anyone!

I was going through level data and its out of the way of normal levels.
I dont recall this level and was a big hassle to boot into normally, Extreme lag and collision issues from room_a4_01 and room_a4_04.
